Biography

Our Kaysville, Draper, and Orem director, Allison Merrill, has been around Up With Kids since she was four years old and played the part of “Block B” in Mary Poppins’ nursery. Her experiences with our fun curriculum helped her to overcome her shy nature and to develop a lifelong love of theater and the performing arts.

After participating in several high school and college productions, Allison attended BYU where she was a member of the auditioned Women’s Chorus for three years. She pursued her love of children and her love of music in her studies and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Child Development. She is an accomplished pianist and violin player.

Allison brings a wealth of experience with young children from her many years of teaching Up With Kids and from being a wonderful mother of three. She is so excited to have this opportunity to help your children shine onstage and off!
