Biography

Sam has been with Up with Kids for 8 years. She began as an intern for two years in Syracuse and Provo, and then became Director in the Tooele location for the past 5 years. She has also led multiple summer camps throughout her career. We’re excited to bring her talents and kindness to the West Jordan area!

Throughout those years, Sam has cultivated expertise in helping children realize their true potential and helped them grow their self-esteem. She continues to strive to help ALL children to be treated equally, regardless of their background. Her true goals are to help every child feel loved and included, and to nurture their inner potential, to be used both on and off the stage.

While teaching children is her passion, in her personal life she and her husband are raising two children, who also have gained a passion for theatre of their own. She loves spending time outdoors and when not teaching can be found gardening or in the mountains enjoying time with her family.
